Opis:
Centre of New Technologies University of Warsaw (CeNT UW) is an interdisciplinary research institute dedicated to the understanding of basic processes at the levels of atoms, molecules, cells and organisms.
We manage over 100 research grants and are looking for a highly motivated and well organised person to assist CeNT UW researchers in all stages of the research project lifecycle, especially identification of suitable funding schemes, proposal submission and preparing reports.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Complex administrative, formal and financial management of national and international grants (NCN, FNP, NCBR, H2020)
- Cooperating with in-house administrative units and assisting the researchers
- Maintaining contacts with representatives of funding institutions and central administration of University of Warsaw
- Ensuring that the CeNT UW researchers are aware of relevant available funding opportunities
Requirements:
Mandatory:
- Experience in participating/managing the submission of proposals to national and international agencies
- Familiarity with the national funding environment
- Ability to work within tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and an ability to work effectively with staff and management across all levels, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written skills in English
Desirable:
- PhD in Biology, Chemistry or a closely related discipline
- Previous experience in conducting own research projects
- Experience of managing research project budgets and preparing budget submissions for funding proposals and reports
- Familiarity with the EU funding environment
