Project title: Anionic Carbenes and Borylanions: Tuning the properties of ruthenium metal complexes in olefin metathesis
Key responsibilities include:
– synthesis of boron compounds for utilization as a ligands in transition metal complexes
– analyzing obtained data
– writing scientific papers
Profile of candidates/requirements:
– PhD degree in organic chemistry, organometallic chemistry or similar (PhD obtained no sooner than 7 years before the starting year of the employment in the project),
– very good knowledge of organic synthesis, organometallic chemistry and catalysis using transition metal complexes. An additional advantage will be the knowledge of boron chemistry,
– very good command of English,
– scientific achievements documented by publications in recognized journals,
– experience in laboratory work (appreciated work experience based at Schlenk technique or glove box),
– knowledge of analytical techniques utilized in organic chemistry (NMR, MS, IR).

We offer:
Post-doctoral full time position (adiunkt naukowy). Salary of approx. 5500-6500 PLN gross/month + 1 extra month bonus for 12-months with a possible extension.
