Project title: Anionic, cationic and mesoionic analogues of N-heterocyclic carbenes in homogenous catalysis
Project Description: Synthesis of the new carbenes and their ruthenium complexes as well as evaluation of their catalytic properties
Key responsibilities include:
Your task will be the synthesis of transition metal complexes and it’s utilization in metathesis reaction.
Profile of candidates/requirements:
• PhD degree in chemistry, organometallic chemistry or similar (PhD obtained no sooner than 7 years before the starting year of the employment in the project),
• Excellent knowledge of organic synthesis or organometallic chemistry, especially Ru chemistry,
• Scientific achievements documented by publications in recognized journals,
• Knowledge of databases (Reaxys, SciFinder),
• Knowledge of analytical techniques utilized in organic chemistry (NMR, MS, IR, HPLC),
• Very good command of English,
• Fast learning ability
