Prizes of the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Chemical Society for CeNT researchers

Prof. Wojciech Grochala, head of the Laboratory of New Functional Materials Technology at the University of Warsaw’s Centre for New Technologies, was awarded the Wojciech Świętosławski First Degree Prize of the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Chemical Society.

The Second Degree Prize was awarded to Dr Przemysław Gaweł from the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, who won recent the competition to become head of the laboratory at the University of Warsaw’s Centre for New Technologies.

The official announcement of the Laureates of the Competition and the awarding of diplomas will take place at a ceremonial meeting of the Warsaw Branch of PTChem, on Thursday 12 June 2025, at 17:30, in the Czochralski Auditorium (Building of Chemical Technology of the Warsaw University of Technology, ul. Koszykowa 75). The ceremony will be combined with a lecture by the guest speaker, Prof Agnieszka Nowak-Król of the University of Wuerzburg, on the topic: ‘Boron-containing chiral compounds: From curiosity to emerging materials for advanced applications’.
