Unusual copper complexes – a publication in the Angewandte Chemie International Edition

Category: Research highlights

Przemysław Malinowski, head of the Small Molecule Activation Laboratory at the University of Warsaw’s Centre of New Technologies, has published a paper entitled “Synthesis and Characterization of a Copper Dinitrogen Complex Supported by a Weakly Coordinating Anion”. In collaboration with Prof. Ingo Krossing’s group at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, the group from the Small Molecule Activation Laboratory synthesized a new copper complex, whose structural, spectroscopic and computational analysis revealed interesting chemical properties and unusual structural characteristics.
