Mourning at the University of Warsaw

Today, in the afternoon hours, the University of Warsaw community was struck by a huge tragedy. Our colleague, an employee of the University of Warsaw, was murdered in a bestial manner.
The perpetrator has been apprehended.
We express our great grief and sympathy to the family and loved ones.
An employee of the University guard was also seriously injured.
In view of the situation, I declare tomorrow 8 May 2025 as a day of mourning at the University of Warsaw.
