Minister of Science and Higher Education visits CeNT

At the University of Warsaw, the UW Rector, Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, met with the Minister of Science and Higher Education, Marcin Kulasek. During the meeting, the topics of further development of the university and cooperation in the field of scientific research and teaching were discussed.

The meeting was also attended by: the chief executive officer in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Marcin Iskra, UW Vice-Rectors: Prof. Ewa Krogulec, Prof. Sambor Grucza, Prof. Zygmunt Lalak, Prof. Adam Niewiadomski, Prof. Maciej Raś, and the UW Chancellor, Robert Grey.

The Minister toured the historic main campus and the Ochota campus. He visited laboratories at the UW Center for New Technologies – the Laboratory of Biological Chemistry and the Laboratory of Quantum Optical Devices. He also met with scientists from the University of Warsaw, with whom he talked about the latest research achievements and prospects for further scientific cooperation. At the end of the visit, Minister Kulasek visited the UW Faculty of Medicine.
