Renata Solarska and Krzysztof Bieńkowski from the Laboratory of Molecular Research for Solar Energy Innovations at the University of Warsaw’s Centre of New Technologies, have published a review paper entitled ‘Halide Perovskites for Photoelectrochemical Water Splitting and CO2 Reduction: Challenges and Opportunities’ in the ACS Catalysis journal. In this publication, they present the latest developments in these important processes that allow both the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and the production of hydrogen, an energy carrier.
