Group leaders openings at CeNT

Centre of New Technologies of the University of Warsaw announces a recruitment competition for the positions of full professor, associate professors / university professor and assistant professors, group leaders in the area of exact, natural and medical sciences.

The University of Warsaw consistently strives to strengthen its position as a research university where basic research is conducted at the highest level and the area of applied research focused on market needs is expanded, while maintaining the principle of unity of science and education. The Centre of New Technologies (CeNT) is an independent, interdisciplinary, university-wide basic unit of the University of Warsaw, whose goal and mission is to educate leaders for science and economy and obtain important scientific results in the field of exact, natural, and medical sciences.

Over 10 years of activity at CeNT, groundbreaking discoveries have been made in thematically distant areas such as chemical modifications of mRNA, materials for storing hydrogen fuel, quantum optical technologies, non-trivial protein topologies as well as ecology and evolution in cities, using the principle of multi- and interdisciplinarity of parallel projects, which allows the activation of representatives of various, even seemingly distant, disciplines. Currently, CeNT is an entity with an established scientific position in Poland and Europe, which, in order to ensure further dynamic development, is looking for scientifically outstanding research groups that strengthen existing disciplines in CeNT and/or set new research directions, offering a state-of-the-art research environment and scientific excellence.
