We are pleased to inform that Sebastian Borówka and Marcin Jastrzębski from the Centre for Quantum Optical Technologies, CeNT UW received an awards in the 31st National Competition of Professor Adam Smoliński. For the 31st time, Polish Committee of Optoelectronics awarded a bachalor’s and master’s thesis focused on optoelectronics.
MSc. Sebastian Borówka received the award for his master’s thesis entitled “Rydberg receiver of frequency and amplitude modulation of the microwave field”. BSc. Marcin Jastrzębski received the award for his bachelor’s thesis entitled “High resolution spectral measurement of electro-optically modulated pulses”.
The award ceremony took place on December 15th, 2022 during the Meeting of Friends and Supporters of SEP.
The competition is aimed at graduates of both first and second degree of programs studies, whose diploma theses in the field of optoelectronics received a distinction or a very good grade.
We are glad, our scholarship holders, along with their supervisor Dr. Michał Parniak-Niedojadło, were among the winners.
The “Quantum Optical Technologies” project is implemented as part of the International Research Agendas programme of the Foundation for Polish Science, co-financed from EU resources, obtained from the European Regional Development Fund under the Smart Growth Operational Programme.
