“From fundamental discoveries to a safe and sustainable future” – symposium organized by the Centre of New Technologies of the University of Warsaw

On January 30, 2024, a symposium titled “From fundamental discoveries to a safe and sustainable future” will be held in the aula hall of the Old Library of the University of Warsaw.

The event is organized by the Centre of New Technologies of the University of Warsaw.

The program will include the following lectures:

  • “Does mRNA technology have a chance to change the face of modern medicine?” – Professor Jacek Jemielity
  • “Optical quantum technologies: from foundations to applications” – Michał Parniak-Niedojadło, Ph.D. 
  • “Beauty and the Beast – new materials and technologies in times of energy transformation” – Professor Wojciech Grochala.

After the lecture, a panel discussion will begin entitled “How does CeNT face global civilization challenges?”

It will be attended by:

  • Professor Alojzy Z. Nowak, Rector of the University of Warsaw
  • Professor Joanna Kargul
  • Professor Wojciech Grochala
  • Professor Jacek Jemielity
  • Michał Parniak-Niedojadło, Ph.D.

The event will be summarized by Rector of the University of Warsaw, Professor Alojzy Z. Nowak.
