We are pleased to announce that the publication entitled “Quantum metrology with imperfect measurements“, prepared under the supervision of Dr. Jan Kołodyński, leader of the Laboratory of Quantum Information and Inference has been published in Nature Communications.
The work deals with quantum metrology, whose primary goal is to use quantum effects in order to perform ultraprecise measurements. But what if the measurements themselves are intrinsically noisy? The Authors have demonstrated that quantum mechanics provides a solution also to deal with such an issue.
