At the Center of New Technologies of the University of Warsaw, representatives of the science and industry have established the Q Cluster – the Quantum Technologies Cluster, the aim of which is to cooperate on the development of Polish quantum technologies, which will enable effective competition on the international market.
The cluster is co-created by scientific units – Universities: Warsaw, Jagiellonian, Gdańsk, Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań,, Nicolaus Copernicus in Toruń, Wrocław University of Technology, Center for Theoretical Physics and the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
The business is represented by experts from companies dealing with quantum technologies: Exatel, which is the national telecommunications operator in Poland, as well as companies: BEIT, Fibrain, Nanores, ORCA Computing, QNA Technology, Quantum Blockchains, Quantum Flytrap, Quantum Optical Technologies, Sequre Quantum , Syderal Polska.
The guests of honor were, among others Maciej Małecki, Secretary of State in the Ministry of State Assets, prof. Artur Ekert from the University of Oxford and representatives of the Ministry of National Defense.
