Karol Łukanowski, student from the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw and stipendee from the Centre for Quantum Optical Technologies, the laureate of the competition for the best BSc thesis in the field of quantum information.

We are pleased to announce that Karol Łukanowski has won first place in Junior KCIK Award competition for the best BSc thesis, entitled Optimal light state assemblies in quantum communication in the presence of losses. The competition is organized by the National Quantum Information Centre (KCIK) operating at the University of Gdańsk.
