Professor Alexander Streltsov, head of the Quantum Resources and Information Laboratory, published a paper entitled “Coherence Manipulation in Asymmetry and Thermodynamics” in the journal Physical Review Letters. This work, done in collaboration with researchers at the Institute of Theoretical Physics of the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, is a further step towards finding the general laws of quantum thermodynamics, which may in future be used to better understand the laws operating at the quantum level.
