Title: Nucleic Acids Sequencing from Environmental Samples

Date:  31st March, 2025, MONDAY

Time: 10:00 am (Central European Time)

The seminar will be available remotely through the Zoom link: https://uw-edu-pl.zoom.us/j/99661655675

Abstract:

We are pleased to continue our series of technical webinars highlighting the scope of work undertaken at the Genomics Core Facility (GCF), CeNT, University of Warsaw. In this session, we will focus on DNA and RNA sequencing derived from environmental samples, such as water, soil, air, and waste materials. Dorota Adamska will provide an overview of essential techniques for sample preparation, emphasizing how they relate to the specific data outcomes expected. She will also outline which steps in the process can be carried out at the Genomics Core Facility. Additionally, she will address key factors to consider when designing experiments and selecting appropriate sequencing methodologies.
