Category: Main page, Research highlights, Science news

The Laboratory of Functional and Structural Genomics (Prof. Dariusz Plewczyński’s lab) is excited to share their latest publication in Communications Biology: “Improved cohesin HiChIP protocol and bioinformatics analysis for robust detection of chromatin loops and stripes.

The team presents an optimized HiChIP experimental protocol combined with a Nextflow-based computational pipeline, enabling high-resolution detection of chromatin loops and stripes, along with 3D modeling of chromosomes. This advancement significantly enhances the accuracy and reproducibility of chromatin interaction studies, offering valuable insights into 3D genome organization and gene regulation.
