Justification for the competition results:
Mr. Saikat Roy has significant scientific achievements, documented by 9 publications in international journals. Mr. Roy has significant experience in quantum chemical calculations, including calculating the interaction energy of molecules and clusters. Mr. Roy also has significant experience in developing advanced quantum chemical calculation programs (including Q-Chem) and numerical data analysis. During the interview with the committee, the candidate demonstrated a good understanding of the topics he has dealt with during his scientific career to date. At the same time, the candidate demonstrated great motivation to deepen his knowledge and continue his scientific work at the University of Warsaw. In summary, Mr. Saikat Roy meets all the requirements for a candidate in this competition for the position of assistant professor (postdoctoral fellow) and is recommended for employment.
