Justification of the competition decision: Shantanu Nandi, PhD meets all the required criteria. He has very good scientific achievements in the form of 7 published articles in reputable journals scientific journals, including e.g. Org. Lett., Chem. Sci. or Green Chem. In 4 of these publications he acts as the first author and is the recipient of several awards and distinctions. Demonstrates mobility, after obtaining his doctoral degree, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Japan. The main theme of the previous ones candidate’s research, i.e. the development of new methods of chemical synthesis, fits perfectly scope of work planned in the project. He also has a background in photochemistry, which is additional advantage. During the interview, the candidate showed good knowledge of the subject issues in the field of organic chemistry.
