Centre of New Technologies University of Warsaw (CeNT UW) is an interdisciplinary research institute dedicated to the understanding of basic processes at the levels of atoms, molecules, cells and organisms.

We manage over 100 research grants and budgetary subventions. We are looking for a highly motivated and well organised person to cover day-to-day internal and external communication, manage project openings, research achievements, scientific events, and to maintain the proper flow of information within the organisation.

Core responsibilities:

Provide support and increase awareness across relevant social media channels, e.g. Twitter, ResearchGate, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
Help to create, implement, and improve standardize processes for communication internally and externally
Continue to ensure information is accurate and up-to-date at all times
Develop and manage website content and work with web team on site design and functionality
Draft, edit and post web content on the CeNT UW website
Provide editing and final oversight for all social media communication
Provide media relations support, as assigned
Other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned

Required skills:

PhD in chemistry/physics or related field
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have ability to multi-task and work independently
Strong time management skills
Attention to detail
Knowledge of and at least some experience with the advertising interfaces on Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
basic knowledge of the WordPress CMS
