Grant Office Specialist

Description:

The „Regenerative Mechanisms for Health” International Research Agenda Unit (“ReMedy”) at Centre of New Technologies, University of Warsaw is seeking highly motivated candidates for a position of a Grant Office Specialist.

Key responsibilities:

  • Complex administrative and financial management of international and domestic grants
  • Maintaining contact with representatives of funding institutions and central administration of the University of Warsaw
  • Ongoing cooperation with ReMedy employees
  • Ensuring that the researchers are aware of relevant available funding opportunities

Required skills:

  • Have experience in grants managing or participating in the submission of proposals to national and international agencies
  • MSc or PhD in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a closely related discipline will be an asset
  • Familiarity with national and international funding environment will be an asset
  • Experience in the cost eligibility assignment, managing research project budgets and preparing research budget submissions for funding proposals and reports will be an asset
  • Ability to cooperate with scientists and administration
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, both English and Polish
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Can-do, proactive and problem solving attitude
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Analytical skills
