In October 2023, the EU project “SUNGATE” began, an important participant of which is the Solar Fuels Laboratory run by Professor Joanna Kargul, operating at the Centre of New Technologies University of Warsaw. The aim of the SUNGATE project itself is to develop a novel, circular, sustainable and cost-efficient bio-hybrid technology that will enable the highly efficient production of solar fuels in the future.
