CeNT’s employees, Przemyslaw ?elazowski and Krzysztof Stopa, created the SatAgro application which delivers satellite images into individual farms. Imagery show crop biomass and allows for a better estimation of the required amount of fertilizer, pesticide and water.
SatAgro currently monitors more than 4 000 crop fields. Application automatically processes data from NASA, ESA (European Space Agency), the European Commission, as well as private satellite operators, so that the parameters needed for farmers can be delivered quickly.
The application was created with the support from EU funds under the Operational Programme for Innovative Economy. Article on SatAgro is available on the Gazeta Wyborcza web-site
