Prof Joanna Sułkowska, head of the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Biological Systems Modelling at the Centre for New Technologies, has been awarded an EMBO Advanced Collaboration Grant. This programme, of the European Molecular Biology Organisation, allows for the establishment or strengthening of international collaborations through academic exchanges of leaders of recognised research groups. As part of the grant awarded to Prof Sułkowska, Prof Sophie Jackson from Cambridge University in the UK, an expert in the study of the molecular basis of protein folding and assembly, will come to Poland.
