Project title: Interactions of U6 snRNA within the catalytic center of the spliceosome – modulation of pre-mRNA splicing by U6-like exon sequences
Key responsibilities include:
We are looking for a highly motivated person seeking to pursue a scientific career. The candidate is expected to actively participate in shaping his/her own project, i.e. to design, perform and interpret experiments, communicate results (both at lab meetings and international conferences) as well as write papers.

Profile of candidates/requirements:
1. Creativity and strong interest in science
2. Recent doctoral degree in biology or a closely related discipline
3. Experimental background in molecular biology, yeast manipulations or RNA techniques will be advantageous
4. Ability to work independently
5. Good communication skills
6. Fluent English
