Abstract: Chromosomes in eukaryotic nucleus are tightly packed into highly non-random conformations that facilitate gene expression regulation by coordinated enhancer-promoter contacts and maintenance of active and inactive compartment maintenance. However, due to technical constraints we are unable to observe these contacts directly on a genome wide-scale. We are interested in development of computational methods for analysis of Chromosome Conformation Capture experimental data that allow us to look at chromosomal contacts and correlate these with gene expression changes dynamics.
