Project description:
Long term goal of the project is to develop efficient generator of few photon states of light. Our current research effort covers experimental demonstrations of multimode quantum memories including spin wave interference, quantum imaging and state characterization.

Key responsibilities include: Participation in one or more of the following:
1. Building and extending optical setups
2. Extending LabVIEW experiment control
3. Extending python data analysis scripts
4. Integrating electronics and optics, optional redesign

Profile of candidates/requirements: Applicants are required to demonstrate solving capacity in at least one of the fields listed below commensurate with the education level of the candidate:
• quantum optics or atomic physics,
• signal or image processing
• electronics including FPGA
• integrating optics , electronics and mechanics in optical laboratory
