Project is carried out within the International Research Agenda programme of the Foundation for Polish Science

Project description: The central objective of the project is to explore specifically quantum phenomena, such as superpositions and entanglement, to develop new modes of quantum information processing and transmission, metrology, sensing, and imaging. The project will be performed in the group of Dr. Alexander Streltsov.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Investigation of fundamental features of quantum systems, such as quantum coherence and entanglement
2. Studying their role for quantum technology, including quantum communication and quantum computation

Profile of candidates/requirements:
Knowledge of at least one of the fields: quantum information theory, quantum optics, statistical mathematics
