Centre of New Technologies University of Warsaw (CeNT UW) is an interdisciplinary research institute dedicated to the understanding of basic processes at the levels of atoms, molecules, cells and organisms.

We manage over 100 research grants and budgetary subventions. We are looking for a highly motivated and well organised person to assist the management board and financial department in preparing various financial analysis.

Main duties & Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing financial analysis upon request
  • Budgeting & Cash Flow Forecasting
  • Assisting in preparation of Annual Operating Plan
  • Providing accounting services for CeNT UW
  • Preparing documents for financial statements and audits of projects implementation
  • Monitoring proper flow of financial resources
  • Maintaining contacts with representatives of central administration of Warsaw University
  • Verifying documents in terms of integrity and accounting

The above list is not exhaustive and you would be required to undertake such duties as may reasonably be requested within the scope of the post.

Required skills:

  • Fluency in English is mandatory, as well as experience in working with SAP system.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of accounting rules
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel (pivots, advanced functions, formatting)
  • Can-do, proactive and problem solving attitude
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Desirable skills:

  • Knowledge of accounting and VAT regulations
