Researchers from CeNT have grown a new strain of algae

Polish scientists from the Center of New Technologies of the University of Warsaw have recently managed to grow a completely new strain of algae. This is the so-called extremophile, i.e. an organism that can function even in the most demanding conditions.

Researchers predict that the microalgae they have grown may have a very wide range of applications. They work well as biomass, so they can be used for the production of biofuels and for obtaining hydrogen.
