Karol Łukanowski the laureate of the Polish National Quantum Information Centre Award

We are pleased to inform that Karol Łukanowski from the Centre for Quantum Optical Technologies, CeNT UW has been the laureate of the Bronze Award of the Polish National Quantum Information Centre (KCIK) for the best Master’s thesis entitled „Upper bounds on key rates in device-independent quantum key distribution”, defended in 2022.

 KCIK awards are presented in the following categories:

  • Golden Award (international)- for solving a selected problem in quantum information
  • Silver Award- for the best PhD thesis on quantum information
  • Bronze Award- for the best Master thesis on quantum information
