Award for the best bioinformatic work for Aleksandra Jarmolińska.

The laureate of the competition organized by the Polish Bioinformatics Society is a PhD student of dr hab. Joanna Sułkowska, prof. UW from the Centre of New Technologies UW.

The aim of the competition is to promote the authors of the best doctoral and master’s theses on bioinformatics issues. Also to popularize this field among young researchers, familiarize the environment with leading work carried out in other scientific centers, and encourage the development of ambitious bioinformatics solutions.

Aleksandra Jarmolińska from the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Mechanics of the University of Warsaw, received a distinction for the work “Algorithms and Models for Protein Structure Analysis”, the supervisors of the work are: prof. dr hab. Anna Gambin from WMIiM UW and dr hab. Joanna Sułkowska, prof. UW from the Centre of New Technologies UW.
