Position for Undergraduate Student in Inorganic Chemistry


Laboratory of Technology of Novel Functional Materials invites applications for undergraduate students. Position will be available immediately as part of the TEAM program funded by the Foundation for Polish Science, entitled “Quest for superconductivity in crystal-engineered higher fluorides of silver”.

Positions opening:
1 Student Position /experiment/: employment for 3 months

  • monthly income of 1,000 PLN (non-taxed)
  • targeting an important scientific goal
  • possibility of getting MSc (mgr) within the project

Formal requirements:
- at least the 3rd year of chemistry or physics studies completed as of Jul 31, 2012
- documented excellent grades obtained during Bachelor studies
- strong drive for working in the field of natural sciences and for making discoveries

Application should contain (i) a maximum 2-page CV. CV should contain the grades and an average grade (in %) obtained during Bachelor studies. The candidates will be asked during the interview to present documents confirming their student/employment status and the grades obtained.
