Abstract: I would like to invite you to a proteomics-popularizing seminar. I am going to discuss how our facility will operate and present a selection of recent quantitative methods in proteomics. The examples to be discussed are expected to spark interest amongst biologists as well as chemists. I will discuss methods that are compatible with our new equipment and can be applied to measure protein-small molecule/ protein-protein interactions, track protein mobility between cellular compartments, discover new protein modifications, measure protein synthesis/degradation rates, determine activities of specific enzymes or across enzyme family members.
